Brigit, Brid, or any of the other names She has gone by. First She didn't put up false airs, She would rather drink ale then sip wine. She was the patron of craftsmen, poets, and healers. She healed animals and helped those who needed it most.
And of all the Pagan God/Goddess, She couldn't be abolished by the Catholic church. All they could do was accept Her and make Her a Saint.

Aset (Isis), is my fav. She is the Goddess of a Thousand names and great sorceress. She was the only mortal to every trick a God into revealing his true name and thus gaining power over him. Because of this became a much loved and powerful Goddess whose worship crossed many countries not just Egypt. Much love to Aset

She is seen as a Buddha/Deity, and the "belief" is that she had reached "enlightenment" but gave it up to stay and comfort those less fortunate. She is known as the Goddess of Compassion.

I have 4 I work with for different aspects of my life. Diana for general stuff, Demeter for cooking, homekeeping, fertility, stability, ect Hecate when I need some serious help and Fortuna for luck.

Iris or Athene. Iris was the hand maiden of Juno, and is what we would call the rainbow. And Athene is just plain awesome
