As a basic rule... It should last as long as the aerial.
If you live in a harsh environment, where you get extreme temperatures (hot and cold), you should replace the cable when you replace the aerial.

Do you mean to get Digital TV?

You DO NOT need to replace you aerial cable though!

When the reception becomes poor.Normally the cable lasts more tnan the equipment!

Who told you you ever have to??? - providing the cable is not damaged in any way and there remains a good connection - there is no reason why you should need to replace it

unless the cable has been damaged, or you want to upgrade, it shouldn't need replacement: it consists of copper. which only age hardens.

It's co axial cable, It doesn't *really* age, and, unless it breaks, leave it alone.
