I'm not concerned about it's lack of flavor or anything else, I can fix that.
I just cooked some with just enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan, but it stuck to the bottom of the pan like no other substance. I believe that if I cooked it at a lower temp, it would never brown, but I could be wrong.
Do I need to use more oil?
Any insights appreciated.

i know this might be too obvious, but did you use a nonstick pan?

non stick pan and a pinch of salt for tofu in it, it will brown up decently and resist the tendency to stick to the pan irrespective of whether it is non stick. and extra oil for it cause it soaks oil too

I have always used an non stick spray (olive oil flavored) when frying it down. I will also put it under the broiler as well.
