We don't need to go through the Bible. The Bible is just a way to learn more about having a relationship with God through Jesus.

God educates us through the bible. The bible in and of itself is not the saving agent. Reading the bible explains our faith and why opening our eyes and our hearts - a gateway so to speak towards knowing Jesus. Jesus however is the only avenue to the Father and the only one who has the power to save us.

You do not 'go through the Bible'. You study the Bible so that you can:
1: Learn to emulate Christ.
2: Learn the plan of salvetion.
3: Learn how to live a Holy life.
You pray to God(the Father) in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.

How else do u think u can know about GOD and Jesus without the BIBLE? BIBLE is a book of instructions,indications,facts, proof, events and i can go on .... I didnt exist when Jesus was there ,neither were u , So only thru BIBLE ,u can know about our loving Father and HIS only begotten,fawless son JesusChrist. And from the beginning GOD created the universe with the WORD ,so WORD is JESUS.

The Bible never says you need to go through it, but seriously, it's the only way you'll ever get to understand and know Christ Jesus as He truly is!

Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.

If you didn't have the word to guide you to the truth you would never know how to get there.

If you were going somewhere you had never been before and you didn't use a road map it would be very difficult to reach your destination...

Because you need to know how to go about having your prayers answered and how to pray and the do's and don't do's. There are so many reason why you should read your Bible, that it would take all day to explain it to you.

The Bible is a guide, a "how-to" manual per se. It gives you His Words and examples of how you should live.
