To me, spirituality means having some interest or belief in supernatural. This doesn't mean religious.
Past lives, no. We only live once, and aren't reincarnated.

You right, that's how we all are supposed to feel about ourselves for truly i tell you, man is spirit in matter and not matter in spirit!
To be spiritual means first and foremost to try not to identify yourself with matter (your physical body and possessions) because that in reality is not you and constantly feel the essence of life. Basically, You are connected to the great life/spirit/energy that permeates and sustains the cosmos.
To appreciate the fact that you are not matter, picture this:
You (Mr X) were in a serious accident (God Forbid!) and your body so damaged that you had to go through a major plastic surgery. Coming out of the hospital, you bump into an old friend and you approach him and started talking to him but him, not recognising you physically, he's like who the hell are you? You say, It's me, your old pal X! Still he doesn;t believe you. How to convince him that it really is YOU?
Well, you would remind him of how you spent your friendship together, your old memories and secrets when you were kids, stuff that was only shared between you two and even stuff about his family and friends, although he'll find that hard to believe, at the end he hugs you with tears and says: I'm sorry dear Friend, i didnt know it was you!
Well, c, you are the one inside (experience, memories, mind, thoughts etc) and not the vehicle in which you RIDE!
About past lives, not sure about that though.

Don't believe in past lives. Spirituality to me means being a good Christian or just a good person i.e. doing our best to help others as far as we possibly can. Being honest, true and correct in all our dealings with others and with ourselves. Having ideals and standards. Not hurting other people.

To me, spirituality means tending to the things of the spirit: The state of my soul and my relationship with Jesus.
I don't believe in past lives.

Spirituality to me is a form of mental masturbation. Literally stroking one's ego with delusions of non-ignorance. However, for others, I suggest that if it makes you happy, and no one is negatively effected by your practices, then enjoy. : )
Past lives could be glitches in the brain's receptors which allow the influence of either:
a) Static that is processed as data by your brain ( i.e. REM Sleep)
b) Normally ignored data that is always present but rarely perceived.

I very much believe in past lives. I believe we are much more than our bodies, we are souls, souls that were created in the image of God, but we got away from him and now we are trying to find our way back. We have to keep coming back here till we have undone all our sins (karma). This is why I try to live the best life possible.
I believe in God, I believe Jesus was a great Messiah, but so were many other great man.
I think Christians are confused about what Jesus said. He did not mean for us to just believe in him in order to get back to God, but to live like him, without sin, that is the only way to get back to God. By judging others for not believing the way they chose to you are sinning, for judging is a sin.
I am always amazed to see so many overweight Christians ( isn't gluttony a sin as well) who gossip, don't forgive, seem hateful towards other religions.
Poor Jesus, for us to use his name. Did he not say : the one without sin may cast the first stone. Turn your other cheek, and forgive 7 times 70 ( or something like that) How is it we can be so selfrighteous in our belief, and think that "just" because we have taken Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, all will be well.
I think we will ALL come back to God sooner or later, and I think many religions will be surprised to find how wrong they were.
Then again, what do I know, until we get there, none of us has the right to claim anything, and especcially not to judge people for there beliefs, That is one thing I am SURE, neither God, nor Jesus, nor Allah, Budda, Mohammed etc etc, EVER intended.
Think on that

Q:If a soul fails to improve itself, what becomes of it.
A: that is why the reincarnation, why it reincarnates, that it may have the opportunity. Can the will of man continue to defy its maker
God=Love,
To Love more fully you must surrender your need to punish, to judge, criticize, condemn, to win, to war (president Bush), to own, control, attack. to be prideful, to police, to interrogate, to make right or wrong, good or bad. For in doing anything of these things is the absence of Love=God

I am sorry if this is insulting. But I think that past lives are a joke. They stand up to no scrutiny at all. They are all just the thoughts of the person having them. Anything that is built on nothing but the thoughts of a single person that cannot be verified by another does not exist. They are dreams and fiction, which can be fun, but they are not real.

I'm a Reincarnationist.
Spirituality to me represents the connection to the eternal source, its science and laws -- the Cosmos.
