As a kitchen witch I use things I can easy find around the house. You can also take a walk through nature to find the things you need. When you find them you can leave them as is or decorate to make them your own.
Example I found a really nice stick laying on the ground will out hiking. I made it into a wand. I bought low heat clay at the craft store and make candle holders - cheaper then buying. I usually ask family and friends to give me any old candle stubs, string, paint, etc...so I can use this to decorate what I need.
Another good thing to do is go to a dollar store. You will be surprised what you can find there. Remember though you don't need things on your altar to worship or even to do magic. All those things help but YOU are the only thing that is needed. The rest is not necessary.
If you are still determined to buy a bunch of things like everyone suggested online will be your best bet. Have fun looking !

Not sure where darlington is, but you can usually find cheap stuff online, but then of course, the shipping is something you would have to be concerned with then.
Do a search on wicca/paganism/witchcraft and darlington and see where that leads you.

Well, I'm a magician but not quite a pagan, and I'm rather nontraditional...but why not use what you have on hand? We set up an elemental altar for a ritual a couple of weeks ago and used salt, incense, a candle and a glass of water to represent earth, air, fire, and water respectively, and added the ace of the corresponding tarot suit to each corner. The nice stuff isn't cheap (ever, really), but until you get enough to get hold of it (or, like us, are just in a hurry) it's not hard to get or make things that will suffice--I use talismans and effigies I've made myself out of polymer clay almost exclusively, and made my rune set the same way, and there truly is more power in what you make yourself.

Why do you need to buy stuff? Don't you have a pocketknife knife, a bowl, a cup, a coaster you can draw a pentacle on and a few candles laying around? Got some garden sage in your yard? And a lighter? You're golden.
If you want a wand, go get one out of the woods.
I personally never use that stuff except in public ritual when showmanship counts. In private, it's just you and the Gods. They are above material things.

I got my silver chalice at a thrift shop, all I had to do was polish it. 2 of my cauldrons were gotten in the garden ornament section of a liquidation place. Check out thrift shops, garage sales, flea markets, junk dealer etc ..you never know what you might find.

I'm not sure if there are any Wiccan or occult shops in your area, so you can go to http://www.witchvox.com/ and from there you can click on your area and go to a list of shops near your area. Hope this helps! Blessed Be!!!!
