I'm doing a project on community health and I need to formulate a policy for sustainable improvement of an area's waste management, knowing which countries seem to have it right will give me a clue where to start!Any help you can offer is highly appreciated:-)

i would say china.. they will (seriously) kill you if you cew gum and spit it out in public/ throw garbage on the ground. they clean there streets every morning an night, with just brooms in hand

I believe Europe has good waste management policies and generally, the people are very civic-minded and conscious about making the effort to recycle items. Eg. Holland.

Cleanest place : Singapore has constantly been known to be one of the cleanest cities in the world ...

I believe some of the Scandinavian countries (Sweden etc) have a really good record
