You could say abortion is both legal and illegal. In some states its totally legal for anyone to get an abortion. In others you need to be a consenting adult. I think it's not a matter of legality but personal morals and beliefs. I know that even if it was 100% legal to abort a birth I never would do it based on my religion and beliefs. Best Wishes

abortion is legal in the U.S.
although some very ignorant people want to make it illegal, because apparently letting women and young girls die in alleyways from botched abortions performed by uneducated butchers is peferrable to having it performed in a state regulated medical facility. don't kid yourselves, legal or not, it will still take place.

abortion - the state of KILLING an unborn child while inside the mother's womb. they scoop the baby out and squish it and cut off all of its legs arms and HEAD!
adoption - a chance to make a family happy if they cannot concieve. a chance to renew their life and yours

It depends on what your states rules are but bush is trying to pass a bill that bans it for the entire country because he feels that it is unconstitutional. You can look it up for whatever state you live in.
