Most religions are considered silly, but these three take the cake.

If you consider "silly"...
A religion that propagates...Hell, Death, the Grave, the intellectual castration of women, the physical abuse of women including public beatings and stoning to death for alleged infidelity, strapping explosives to the torsos of women and children sending them off to blow themselves up for the greater glory of their blood soaked God and religion!
Beheading, Kidnapping, physical mutilation of the female genitalia on their wedding night, intolerance and last but by no means least world wide genocide for all non-Muslims!
And like the Far Left Wing Liberal ACLU Adoring Democrats that feel all Muslim Homicide bombers are just misunderstood, then silly it is...to consider that and be a Liberal!

I don't know if silly is the right term. I would say that unnecessary would be better. All religion is based on a concept of what is preceived to be true. It does not make it true, just because a few zealots decide to make a business out of it, or decide to have a million followers. If the bus is going to the wrong destination, no matter what the driver says you ain't gonna get where you are suppose to be going.
The whole idea of the Earth visit by God through the journey of Jesus the Christ was to reinstate the human beings to the Father of all, God. Once this happens then it is not for you to go out and let others live off of the experience that yu have had, but it is to show them the way to the same hookup. Once they are hooked up it is their responsibility to do the same for as many as God leads them to. It isn't about building these huge comglamorates of business that they call churches and make the pastors rich. God will build a church of Gold to lead one lost sheep back to himself, but the idea is not to have this religious type of place that is the only place you can meet God. The God we are to serve is a personel God. It ain't about the name on your church or what religion you are at all. It is about being in fellowship with Him and maintaining that fellowship. Yes, God does use the five fold ministry to perfect the saints, but for what? It is so they can work for God not for man. the Holy Spirit is the only Spirit you are to answer to on this Planet. He is the Teacher and Comforter. God is not religious he is reality. When you find this truth, it is from Him directly and it ain't through some enlightening guru or human that happened to get a little light and from that create a religious following. Nonsense. Jesus is Lord. The Holy Spirit is the Teacher and God is the Father. That is it. If you know that for sure and keep in touch with those three aspects of reality, that is all that you really need. Fellowship when you need it with other believers, anyplace will do it does not need to be a multi Million dollar sanctuary. it can be in the quiet of your home or in Time Square. he is with you just talk to Him and live it don't just talk it.

Out of this list I would have to say Mormon is about the silliest. Then I would have to say Scientology. Then Islam.

So far as far as I've seen through one of the most out spoken followers of this religion it seems Scientology takes the cake. Or should we say takes the couch.

Nice mix. A christian religion, islamic, and a hot topic.
Hmmm they all do some good. And they all can easily be made fun of. But then Id be hard pressed to name a religion that cant be made just as much fun of without too much effort.
I think you should look into the Church of the Subgenius (its real, research it. Its fun)

No religion is silly if you truly believe in it. Many of us need to believe in and connect with something greater than ourselves. All religions do this. While we may not agree with the tenets of a particular religion, it simply means that this is not the path we need to take, not that that particular religion is "silly."
