Is it just because they dont try to push their religion onto others? Is it because they dont believe in sin, and therefore, they can do things without fear of the "ultimate consequence"?

Im sure there are many christians who are fun (especially the ones who arent totally devout), but there is always some sort of catch that prevents them from going too far.

Why do you think these people are more fun? I kind of see what you are saying but it's really not like that. You can't say that atheists etc.. are a lot more fun because for one you really don't know that. Sometimes people appear that they have it all together and they really don't. And that goes for everybody whether athiest, christian or not. Don't be so quick to judge and it's not what you think it is on the other side. And yes many christians are fun. But what prevents me from going to far and maybe others is my relationship with God. Sometimes when we do things that are not pleasing to God we are convicted for those actions. This is what prevents me from going to far and it could be the same for others.

I can speak for myself, being an agnostic. It is not that I do not believe in sin or consequences. To me the consequences are earth bound. No heavenly figure is going to judge me for what I did or what I am doing. I am accountable and responsible for my own actions. I am not encumbered by guilty feelings that is usually associated with religion. I do not work within boundaries or a box. If that makes it more fun, then so be it. It allows me to meet people with different ideas and beliefs without judging them. It makes me more knowledgable. Considering my association with religious groups, I find I am more tolerant of others, understand others beliefs and unafraid of the concept of heaven or hell (I don't believe they exist). There are individuals in these groups who are very tolerant, well-versed in others beliefs and unafraid of heaven or hell. I have met many religious people who are great fun to be with.

Christianity is not the only religion that is considered to be restrictive. Almost all religions (especially the fundamentalists of those groups) are restrictive to a certain degree. I have met people from all religions who are so caught up in their religion to enjoy the world and others who really don't give a damn.

It is our differences that makes the world a great place to live in provided we can accept each other for what they are.

your stereotyping...

i think you mean that people who arent christians are...more outrageous??

look, when i was 13, i snuck out of church to smoke pot.

but im over that, thats not fun. Fun isnt outrageous. Unless your looking for that, then im sure you can go to some athiest meetings and meet some cool people there.

and the fact is, if your an athiest, in this life, your a moron. There is OBVIOUSLY something out there. Were not alone in this life. We werent just created out of the blue. Even einstein believed in God. And if you dont believe in God, look at youself. We have eyes we have ears far out were ******* amazingg!

This doesnt just come from no where.

BECAUSE....

They know Isalm gone unchecked... is a religion that propagates...

Hell, Death, the Grave, the intellectual castration of women, the physical abuse of women including public beatings and stoning to death for alleged infidelity, strapping explosives to the torsos of women and children sending them off to blow themselves up for the greater glory of their blood soaked God and religion!

Beheading, Kidnapping, physical mutilation of the female genitalia on their wedding night, intolerance and last but by no means least world wide genocide for all non-Muslims!

And like the Far Left Wing Liberal ACLU Adoring Democrats they feel all Muslim Homicide bombers are just misunderstood, sooo they have a lot more fun in life!

Get it?

It depend on what you call fun. There are people I know who get drunk every nite. I mean blasted out of the minds drunk. Now if you call that fun then more power too you. OH by the way they do not also hold on to a job and always asking for money. They also complain that everyone is against their fun. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm............ I guess that what you call fun.

You hit the nail on the head: Atheists, etc. have no fear of punishment. They are only accountable to themselves. They make up their own rules.

Being involved in the ministries I take part in is the most fun I ever have. We do most everything everyone else does, but without the drugs, alcohol, sex, & things that go against the laws of nature. No sense in ruining good times with things that only bring you down & make you regret them.

No. If there became an omniscient perfect author of the universe it would want to easily no longer care a lot less what we "believe". this entire fascination with "conception" in some religions is really infantile and ridiculous. this theory likely stems from the conception in some historic religions that the "gods" gained skill from human beings worshiping them and praying to them. Very stupid. more moderen religions likely basically followed this want to "believe" of their deities from those old myths. If there's a "god" accessible why might want to it care what we believe? At maximum if it cared about what we do in any respect it would want to care how we easily act. no longer what we believe. it quite is the gist of it besides. I evaluate myself an agnostic atheist because i in my opinion do no longer believe in the existence of any deities or supernatural universe creators or regardless of you want to call them. I do even with the undeniable fact that carry out that there is a minimum of a distant chance that some form of non-own common form of "god(s)" might want to exist someplace "accessible". i don't believe it, yet well known the prospect.

All sin is fun. It still remains sin and leads to death.
Psa 10:16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

i hear a lot the phrase "try to push religion on others" i have not, to date, ever seen a person trying to push religion on someone else. its pretty obvious you guys adopted this phrase, because if the bible is ever even mentioned specifically, you have guilt for not following it.

no, they haven't great fun. they are sorry inside because they believe in nothing. God is not only a belief or an essence, He is something that gives to our lives something more: the promise that the fun won't end with death.......but it will survive forever!
