Too damn many people enjoy the blanket of freedom which we provide and then turn around and arm chair quarterback how it should or should not have been done.
Grab a weapon and do your time or shut the f-ck up and let these people do their jobs ! Did any of these idiots see the news when people were having their heads chopped off or bodies of soldiers were being strung up on a bridge and burned ?
Get a clue people - these people come from a different background and culture, and they have no rules.

The military in a democracy is under the orders of the government and the government answers to the citizens who enjoy many rights defended by the military amoung which is the right to complain about the actions of any body in the government and the military. If you or anybody doesn't like it leave. To call for the deprivation of any rights or the deletion of any part of the Constitution can be construed as treason which should be punished swiftly and finally.

War is hell and very bloody. Sometimes procedures have to be done that would be appalling to a lot of people, but that's what war is, and it's been done for centuries. I prefer not to have war, but if we're in it, I think our military has every right to do whatever they deem necessary to accomplish that mission. The media needs to be banned from war zones, especially in light of all the doctored photos and videos that have been exposed lately.

What does America stand for if its soldiers use illegal white phosphorous, kill civilians in revenge attacks, torture women and children, and rape teenagers and kill their families? I thought America stood for decency and human rights - surely you are not proud of the above actions. Those who care about American values are right to speak out against the excesses of its troops. Those soldiers who torture, etc. are unworthy to wear the flag on their uniform.
