A car game my aunt used to play with me is I would name off like 25 differnt items or something anything EX. (tree, duck, house, asia, spoon) anything specific or not. All of these I would tell her one at a time and when she was ready she would ask me for the next one then after 25 she could tell me all of them back in the same order. The way to do it is to make up a story with the words and then the possiblities are endless. Kinda the same way if your studying take your fav song and replace the lyrics with the stuff your studying. Ever see anyone humming during a test? thats what their doing.

There's no real way to trick your brain into being able to memorize more physiologically; but you can take measures to make sure you can remember things to the best of YOUR potential
1. Repeat the info. Again, and again. Dont want to anymore? Do it again 5x. I know for exams if I make note cards with 100 questions, and I go one by one answering them, if I get one wrong I force myself to start from card one and keep going.
2. Study right before bedtime. Somehow while you rest the information marinates, and in the morning you'll be spitting info out as you brush your teeth.
3. Breakfast is key, as lame as some idiots want to make that seem. Eat a BIG breakfast. At least when your test taking you wont be thinking about how hungry you are.
4. While you study, have a small snacky available like chips, grapes, etc. Studies say this helps you relax and retain more information.
I do wish you luck in your test, and just know you can memorize a lot more just by using yourself - the potential's in you already.

Study, but not late at night and make sure you take lots of breaks whilst you are studying, but when you do break dont watch tv or take your mind set away from your course work, just use the time to have some food or lie down for a bit etc.
Also when you are trying to remember things write it down as you are reading then read what you have written again and it should help.
Good luck!

Sniff Chocolate!! In a study, subjects who memorized words in a room scented with chocolate recalled 21% more than those who memorized them in a scentless room. Scientists think the smell stimulates the brain's limbic system, which is responsble for memory.

The more you use it, the better it becomes. Perhaps you could try memorising your phone book? :D
Anyway there's no such thing as a quick fix.
Good luck to your exams.

If it is something that you just can't seem to remember try associating it with something you are familiar with. If there isn't anything that you can relate it to, my advice is just study the stuff.
