Buddhism: Especially of the Southern Traditions ( Sri Lankan, Burma, Thailand ) These schools of Buddhism encourage self-discovery, self-insight and buddhism in general states that you are responsible for whatever you do or whatever is happening to you... namely the law of karma. NO ONE bestows upon you that which is bad, neither that which is good. If you have the seeds of wealth for example, you will get wealthy irregardless of whether you are a buddhist or not. Those leading a "good life" are said to be living off past seeds that have borne fruit. Trick now is to maintain those good fruits.
Mind you... we all have a massive amount of pleasurable seeds and painful seeds. In Buddhism, pleasure is not always beneficial and pain is not always harm for BOTH leaves you room to discover aspects of oneself one had never thought were there before.

The only impossible thing for God is the possibility that the impossible is impossible.
The bible and Christ as he walked the earth taught not to judge.
We are responsible for ourselves, and our brothers and sisters.
We cannot however judge or criticize our neighbors when we ourselves are guilty of even one sin. Lying as an example.
We are responsible for ourselves, and should not be placing stumbling blocks in others paths.
This should allow you the right to self, life, and personal responsibility.
Knowledge is a good start, but not the key.

You'd be surprised by my answer, but the "religion" that does promote that is The Church Of Satan. Yes, The Church Of Satan. Unlike what you are traditionally taught in Sunday school, the laws and practices governing the Church of Satan are much different than those Christians believe. For instance, they do not worship Satan, kill babies, rape, etc. and a good number of them are self proclaimed Athiests or Agnostics.

You should read the Satanic Bible. Anton LaVey talks a lot about self responsibilty and self love. Also it says that since you are the most important person, your birthday could be treated as a religious holiday.

my religion (islam) allows promotes individual responsibility (it's repeated over and over in the quran that "nobody will bear the burdens of another, not even a father for his son") and knowledge is a pre-requisite for us and has a very high place in islam (including knowledge of yourself, of people, of this world, etc.) the prophet told us to seek knowledge, even it be in china, and he also said to never stop learning.
about self love, i wouldn't say that my religion promotes that, because the self as we understand it in islam is a bad "creation", always working with the devil to pull you down. so in islam, self knowledge implies a lack of self love, not the opposite.
there, hope this helps.

I call it spirituality...left to the individual to interpret...to work out individually...to work out with god and their higher self...you know what is right...you don't hurt others because it hurts you also...bless the earth, her plants, her animals...thank her for letting you be upon her...thank every fruit and vegetable you eat...don't eat animals...see beauty and understanding and forgiveness in all and send love and light and positivity to all the dark negative places and hearts...

Christianity.... you have a responsibility to live in God and you should love yourself and what you stand for, and you should want to become knowledgeable in God. It's the religion of free will
