"If" Jews are God's "Chosen People" What does that make Christians?

Benny Hin, Rev. Falwell, Pat Robertson, Randy and Pastors Paula White, "Tampas Dynamic Duo of the Megabuck Maxi Blessing and Authors of, "Stuff Your face At And Get All You Can Eat From God's Prosperity Buffer"... all say they're God's chosen and they're respective followers of course!

And little Tommy from the humble Bible Belt Sunday School was taught that all those that accept God's Son JESUS are the "Choosen"...not his killers!

How did a Muslim get in here? A Muslim of all people entering s debate about God's chosen!! The sons of Haggar?

Hell, Death, the Grave, the intellectual castration of women, the physical abuse of women including public beatings and stoning to death for alleged infidelity, strapping explosives to the torsos of women and children sending them off to blow themselves up for the greater glory of their blood soaked God and religion!

Beheading, Kidnapping, physical mutilation of the female genitalia on their wedding night, intolerance and last but by no means least world wide genocide for all non-Muslims! This is Islam..."their God's" chosen!

And like the Far Left Wing Liberal ACLU Adoring Democrats they feel all Muslim Homicide bombers are just misunderstood, and this giuy thinks they are God's chosen! Ugh.

The Jews (or nation of Israel) were Gods chosen people, a people with whom he made a covenant and who made a covenant with him (when they came out of Egypt). But...they kept breaking their covenant with God (disobeying his laws and worshipping other gods etc) and then ultimately rejected Gods son, Jesus (there's plenty of prophesies in the old testament that were fufilled in Jesus - so they should have realised it was him!). Therefore God rejected Israel and set up Christianity through Jesus. Jesus said (Matthew 21:42+43) ''Did you never read in the scriptures "the stone that the builders rejected is the one that has become the chief cornerstone" (i.e. they rejected Jesus). This is why I say to you, The Kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits.'

I would also like to point out - from your second point - that you are correct that Islam is not a holy nation and is not a follow-on religion from Christianity. You see the Quran not only contradicts the bible but also contradicts itself, so it is easy to see that it is not from God! The bible condems self-mutilation, murder, hatred etc saying that those practicing such things 'will not inherit Gods Kingdom' - why would he suddenly change his mind!?

Ok, first of all I think u went off on a rambling rampage right there and didn't think about your question(no offense). Secondly, Jesus had to die. The powerful Jewish leaders(and a lot of the Jewish people)of that time period did not believe that Jesus was the true Messiah. He came to conquer death so that anyone would have the opportunity 2 come 2 know Christ. Take John 3:16-17 for example: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him will have eternal life. For God did not send his son in2 the world 2 condemn the world but 2 save the world through him." Christians now r the gentiles from back then who became believers and followed Christ.I'd say more, but I don't want 2 take up 2 much room so I hope u understand what I mean! God bless you.

Ok, Jews were originally chosen, they were a dedicated people at Mount Sinai and it was through this people that our Lord Jesus Christ was born from a Jewish Virgin. Essentially Jesus restricted his teaching to Jews and Samaritans ( who were descendants of the northern 10 tribe kingdom of Israel. destroyed by the Assyrians a few centuries before) However with their rejection of Jesus Christ and his impaling the law covenant of God was at an end and this left the way open for Christians to become the chosen of God and they are chosen via Holy Spirit that testifies with them that they are chosen. If you look in the Bible book of Hebrews you can have this explained.

We are gentiles.(the ingrafted branch) God new the Jews would reject Jesus as their messiah until a specific time,He allowed this so that others could be saved..In this time period it is known as"the time of the gentiles"After this time is over Jews will come to Jesus also as it mentions in the book of Revelation
