The hand was made on Carol Duvall show, it was a rubber glove filled with something, I believe it was plaster of paris. The glove was fitted around a serving bowl and allowed to dry. I think the rubber glove and removed and the hand was painted and used to hold a serving bowl on a buffet or table for centerpiece. It was painted before being used and looked like a reat hand holding a serving bowl. I know I saw this on HGTV Carol Duvall show but can't remember for sure when it was. Maybe 6 months or so.

"Handy snackers" -- made from plaster of paris and surgical gloves --they could be used for holding a bowl of candy or nuts, jewelry or nothing at all.
