I don't like to call my pets.....it seems an archaic habit. I think "black cat" is a perfect name for a black cat.

I once had a racist neighbor, who had a few cats of his own, two were totally black kitties, he called one Niggie and the other he called Nnigga (obviously).
These days it is trendy to be rebellious and use derogatory terms in daily speech, that being called a knigga is part of the hip-hop sub culture.

The only black cat that I ever had, I named after Marvin the Martian. Except Marvin the cat was actually a girl, but she didn't mind being named after a martian.

If you're calling the cat black cat you can probably change the name to anything you want but if you're in the habit of calling it something already you may not change.

You should change the name of your cat. My brother's girlfriend's sons have a black cat named Kitty. It could be worse.

I say "black." maximum black human beings i understand say "black." the only time each and every man or woman says "African American" is while they are on solid Morning usa. I mean, I do comprehend why this term has stepped forward, and that i comprehend the historic previous it relatively is occurring, and the reality that "black" has replaced different words that are rather now no longer suitable, and maybe sometime "black" will connect the ranks of words like "colored," which make human beings draw back in the present day. i think of it behooves us all to be fairly gentle to those variations, and not purely brush aside all of it as laptop thuggery. yet i do no longer think of we are there yet with "black."
