LISTEN CLOSELY!!!! DON'T GET INVOLVED WITH HIM!!!! AND IF YOU DO, GET ANOTHER JOB!!!! Believe me, dating your boss is one of the worse things you can do!!! That saying don't mix business with pleasure is there for a reason.

You don't. He's your boss. He can't. You shouldn't.

Fishing off the company pier can be tricky in this litigious age, and dating your boss, while undeniably kinky, can land you in some rough waters. Of course it's not your fault if evil forces in the universe thought it would be funny to give the one person in your office with personality, looks, and a great sense of humor the corner office and keys to the executive washroom.

What is your company's employee interaction policy? Some companies, generally small businesses, don't have any kind of policy at all, and simply deal with each situation as it arises. Other companies, usually larger corporations, have very strict policies that prohibit any and all romantic interaction between supervisors and their subordinates, and can often have very harsh penalties. Interestingly enough, the main reason why companies have such policies is not because of sexual harassment, but because romantic entanglement and/or squabbling in the workplace can cause distractions and problems with office morale and can lead to high turnover and poor productivity.

Think about the consequences, for heaven's sake. Think about what it will look like - because even if there is no official policy and even if you are discreet, it WILL get out. How mellow is your workplace? Will people respect your privacy, or will they use every opportunity to embarrass you and create an issue where there is none? People are people and if you date your boss, it will looking like you are sleeping your way to the top and then your fellow over-worked, under-paid sisters who bust their asses to break the glass ceiling will be very proud of you! (Riiiiiiight.)

And when - not "if" - when - you get found out, not only will you be the Monica Lewinski of corporate business, but the stigma could follow you to a new job. Your co-workers will have no respect for you, and hell hath no fury like a boss who looks like he was used for advancement. They won't appreciate being manipulated, and you won't appreciate the living hell they can make your work environment.

To say nothing if one or both of you getting fired.

It is just not worth it.

Oh expensive unfavourable you, it really is my suggestion stay faraway from him. tell him you've a boy pal and then thank him kindly for asking you out (say you've at the moment made it up along with your boyfriend). reason: All maximum all romances with the boss deliver about heartbreak and that is often the worker that finally ends up getting damage because they modify right into a source of embarrassment to the boss if the relationship is going pear shaped. And friends get very jealous and make up issues that are literally not authentic and typically and extremely just about continuously the employees will finally end up dropping their job or requested to leave as their position turns into untenable. it really is statistically authentic and there is written data to substantiate what i'm saying. So supply him a tremendous start yet do it in the nicest authentic way so as that he's not indignant.

He probably already knows you fancy him, you will be sending out vibes, is he staring at you because he fancies you or because he wonders what you are staring at him for??????. Be careful he is the boss you could lose your job. If you really think it could work with him then just be nice at work and when the opportunity presents itself, such as a works party or a family do invite him along, if you feel he is approachable in that way.

If this guy is your boss I would suggest not saying anything. A relationship with your boss has the potential for disaster. I'm sure you can find someone outside of your work place just as attractive. Give that a try. It's not worth risking your job over.

What do you know about him other than he is your boss? and how would you handle working with him if the relationship ended? what about office gossip? can you put up with that? Think very carefully before you go down this road, him staring means nothing he hasnt approached you so leave it.

This is a very tricky situation on both accounts. On his account he could be accused of sexual harassment by the HR department even if the relationship is voluntary. Anytime somebody has "power over" another this activity is frowned upon by most organizations.

On your part, if things go south, it could adversely effect your promotability and he could use the job to manipulate you.

If you are that interested in him, switch departments and then ask him out! Good luck!

Look the other way and give your head a shake. If you pursue this and the line is crossed, everyday that you go to work afterwards will become truly awkward and full of regret. Resist the temptation and just enjoy the working relationship as it is which will be simply heavenly.

If you really like your job and want to keep it, dont mix business with pleasure.... a co worker is one thing, a boss is another. If things get started and it doesnt work out, guess who will lose their job? YOU.... stay clear
