why split A/C unit consuming less energy then window type?

The outside unit is more efficient at exhanging with outside air.
The inside unit is not disturbed by external air.
The window unit has losses between "outside" and "inside" part.

vague question,but i think, you are reffering to the EER of the AC.

but still i don't believe it, i wonder where you got the information since most split type AC's uses more piping, which reduces it's efficiency.
