I have videos taped on NTSC, but now have a PAL camera. How can I use to view my tapes?

I have no way of obtaining a NTSC camera cause i'm now travelling in Asia. Any softwares or ways to go about doing this? Thanks guys

There is no software fix. You still need a device to play back the NTSC tape. If you can obtain an ntsc deck or camera, use it to import into your computer... then convert to PAL using any standard edit software (final cut/avid)... then go back out to your PAL camera. Or you can pay cash to a facility to do the dubs/conversion for you.

A PAL device will not display an NTSC recording properly, as you already know. So you 'must' have an NTSC deck or camera... Sorry, no short cuts other than paying somebody else to do it if you do not have the equipment.

trying get a tv tuner then burn it to a DVD, hauppage tv tuners are excellent, that what I did with mine, I had a pal camera, but i lived in canada, NTSC, so i used thetv tuner's component inputs recorded to my computer and then edited and burned it to a dvd.
