I feel scared of her now. Shall I keep my distance from her for my own health and safety?

Get her to your nearest Dianetics center...they can help her deal with her schizophrenia without drugs.

Tell her as a friend, that if she does not get the help she needs,...you might (notice i said might) have to end your friendship..tell her you would rather she get the help because you are worried about her..but if she is going to be pulling knives, etc..you cannot participate or be accused of being an accomplice...And then, stand by your words.

yes you should. don't let anyone tell you differently. schizophrenics are not always in control of their thoughts or actions. at any given time, she could view you as her enemy. her being caught with a knife is not a good sign. please keep yourself safe.

don't stop bein her freind, be her best freind, tell her to sign herself into the hospital, she can sign out whenever she wants, but she should get help, medication right away . then when she gets out , call her and make sure she is takin the meds.
