Imagine a God with Omnicience, Omnipotence, and Immortality at a level infinitely beyone what we ever could perceive. This eternally powerful entitly creates Galaxies and Universes with a mear will. He also creates life!!! All forms, all species. One of which is Human. Who is infinitely inferior to God. Who is limited to only a miniscule fraction of information about the universe and who's minds cannot comprehend the God. And what is it that God want's from the Humans? He wants them to say just how great of a guy he is, but not just great.....GLORIOUS!!!
I've never met him, but he's GLORIOUS.
Don't know why he wants me to say it but, He's GLORIOUS.

My knowledge of him is limited and even what I read could be false. Even so, my information is limited so my judgement of and eternal being would be pointless, but for some reason your God insists on his followers on making obtuse praise to him.

I've been down the Christian path before and all I find are fearful people who need easy answers. Jesus never came to me and I began to realize that people need little proof to confirm what they believe. Mostly self fulfilling prophecy.

Thats exactly how cults got their way. Famous ones like Jonestown, Davidian, Heaven's gate (hale bop), Manson. No one ever doubted and just accepted what their captain was telling them as fact.

You've seemed to have wrapped yourself into a world of psychobabble which for some reason you believe would be comprehensible to others. Being that I get this impression that you'll gloat to your friends about how you showed someone "the way things really are" but in reality only convinced me that there are those out there who really and truely will never make sense to anyone, but themselves.
From what I did gather from your statement though, was that God was incomplete without us. Which, in being a God, is impossible for a God to be since he is both everywhere and all powerful. That means no limitations or lacking.

He doesn't want us to just say He's glorious he wants our love freely given he didn't need to create anything because his totally happy in and of himself that's why he doesn't need us to tell him he's glorious even if he is.
The answer is love. His love made God create the universe and us, love made him come down into the womb of Mary, love made him announce his doctrine, love made him suffer and die for us, love raised him from the tomb , love made him ascend, love made him institute the church and the sacraments, especially the holy Eucharist. God is love.

your on a plane and the pilot comes on and says ladies and gentlemen the plane is going to crash, there is no need to fear because under your seat there is a parachute, 95% of the people on the plane will do what? reach down without hesitation, not knowing anything about that pilot and never seeing him or meeting him they will trust that what he has is said is right. I feel it is the same with religion, people go by what they are told and believe in someone they dont know, never met and will only see at certain points.

Thats a very typical question in this philosophically corrupt age(i love being patronizing),i've had it myself (ha did it again)though im not achristian,so cant speak for it, as i've got bigger issues with that religion but if you want to broaden your horizons alittle you would find answers elsewhere.here's the rundowm:if the point of man is so he should be happy(im going to work with afew assumptions hon,as i cant tell you every thing here the point of this exercise is to teach you a little humility sweety although youare but a product of your enviorment) and that is b\c god who is the quintessential kindly giver needed someone to make happy(excuse the parrallel but its similar to the way people without children often buy dogs)and since god is perfect and the essence of perfection is completeness i.e.having ALL attributes intheir fullest,most complete and real form then the essence of goodness and pleasure is tobe found only with god him\s as all else isn't as real or complete as him\s(no time to explain) so itfollows that the way to what god wants for you is to have (which ishappinness& pleasure)is to come close to him and since he is spiritual(i.e.more real) one must aproach on the level of the mind to be close otherwise there is s\t between you(mterialism, so one must try to be spiritual and the realm of spirit is the mind so one must strive to be a creature of themind[and the other higher senses])this is actually the reason for this world as why,the question begs to be asked couldnt god just give us all the best the answer is the altimate pleasure is one that is earned aside from the obvious this is necessary as to be close to god one must be similar and just as god needs n\t so too you on your level should not be dependent which is acheived by working towards gods goal of being close-we bring ourselves close and just as true love needs and grows with knowledge of the beloveds good attributes the same goes for god who we realise how good he is and how much we owe him (thereby meshing our minds with him in the closeness of love:for that is what it is joining oneself to another)by contemplating his GLORYOUSNESS andattempting in our small way to be like it.
