No gimmic. People in sunny climates often keep an Aloe Vera plant or two in the house. It's a type of cactus. If you get sunburned, you cut one of the long thick leaves off and squeeze out the lotion onto the skin. It is the best relief.

It's great great great stuff put it on anything and it works like magic great for burns, sun burn and skin irritations. Get the pure Aloe Vera Gel from Holland and Broadbrige its dead cheap and lasts for ages. It's a definite must have. If you are a total purist and against all capitalist activity then get yourself and Aloe Vera plant and just break a leaf off when and if you need it!

Aloe Vera is not a sudden health fad. It has been around literally for centuries and is widely regarded as a health tonic and medicine with hundreds of potential uses. The best thing about Aloe Vera is that it's completely natural and safe for all to use.

I'm not sure why you connect aloe vera to get rich quick.
We can find aloe vera products everywhere. In pharmacy/supermarket, very easily available.
Aloe vera nowadays widely used - in shower gel, intimate wash, haircare products, lipcare, for mouth ulcer, etc - I've used aloe vera for years and I'm sure a lot of people agree that its gel-like substance is a natural soother that can alleviate the pain of cuts, burns or general irritation and inflammation.

If you go and cut the plant up yourself and get the gel it can have benefits, it is a mild anti inflamatory and moisturiser. If you buy a lotion or something that says "aloe vera" on the bottle you are wasting your money. Most of them have insignificant amounts of aloe vera and are often petroleum based.

it all depends on how much aloe vera is in the lotion, you can get an aloe vera plant in your yard. pull off a leaf, break it in half and massage the milk out of the leaf, you'll see how well it works just by itself.

It is really good ... not just externally which is brilliant hypo-allergenic treatment for dry or chapped skin ... Aloe juice, although bitter is pretty good for you too as a digestive, high in minerals and amino acids. It's been a top seller in South Africa for many many years as a cheap & highly effective treatment.
