I am currently using Ares as a music downloading programme. However i cant seem to place the downloaded music into my music folder on my desktop (which means i cant burn to CD) Any ideas how i can transfer them to my desktop folder??

Find the folder they are stored in and use copy and paste!

you shouldnt download stuff to your desktop, it will slow your machine down, open my computer - c:\ - programme files - ares - then right click and create a short cut to desktop of "my shared folder" this will allow access to the downloaded music without slowing your pc down
