Holy crap! That would be a mess. Although sometimes I think we are headed there!

Simple, the religious group with the most political influence would impart their agenda and further a cause of destroying other religions or even non-religions!

Furthermore beliefs would overcome facts to the detriment of all.

This does not mean religious education does not have its place. But public education must remain neutral.

Most likely the church that is most dominating and has larger group of members will try to control the state. Most especially in the education sector because they will try to impose their doctrines and beliefs.
