Do you still believe it?
Do you have a conscience?
Do you live inside fear, of being unmasked?
So... you don't believe in a watcher, a listener, a creator and judge for us all, so it doesn't matter, ok?
But what if you're wrong?
Did you ever consider you might be?
Then... how will you answer, when your time is called?

It is interesting that many have taken this question as a very personal attack. And responded by going out on the attack to me.
It is merely a metaphorical musing as in, 'what if?' and the question is wide open... decidedly not accusatory... the 'you' being 'us'... including me as well.
As a retired journalist I used a captivating title to envelop my musings... and interestingly, it did what all headlines do., created knee-jerk reactions!
Every question asked, has many facets to it... because we see the world in individual ways.
To turn the question back as an attack on the questioner can be justified, if, the question is racist, inciting hatred, or has elements of being unsuitable for the site we use.
My question has none of these elements and is merely borne of having lived a long life, experienced and observed much. Enough to show me that 'we', me included... should be considering these things at some point in our lives.

if i cheated to the top
the only thing i would be afraid of is my conscience
For i am my own judge
Because if there was a creater, judge, and watcher of us all
Then he/she would have to answer to me why there is so much pain in this world
And why all he/she did was watch

Are these song lyrics? Sounds like a disco hit... because it can't be addressed to everyone ;) You should consider putting a beat to it, it could chart.
'a watcher, a listener, a creator and judge for us all'
Hmm... I don't believe in that, no. The conscience is a powerful device though, and the subliminal mind, well, it's just sublime. Whether you believe in god, or gods, or nothing at all, at the end of the day you still have to face up to what you know and what you've done.

Lets look at the reverse of your statment/questions.
So, you didn't cheat your way to the top and nobody cares about you?
Do you not belive it?
Do you do everything moraly "right"?
So, you belive in a creator so it doesn't matter, ok?
But what if I'm right?
Did you ever consider I might be?
Then, why did you waste your life?
By reversing the argument it seems that you do not have much of a position.

Feel free to unmask me, I won't be scared but you might.
I watch and judge my own actions, not because I don't believe in god, but because I have a conscience.
If I ever have to answer to anyone, in the slim eventuality that I am wrong, then I'm sure I can give my words enough spin to confuse the devil himself (bearing in mind, that's the direction in which all the lovely, forgiving, kindhearted christians keep pointing me)...

Who is this "you" to whom this sweeping generalization disguised as a question is adressed?
Are you assuming everyone but you is cheating? The top of what?
Ahhhh yes, another rant directed to a captive Internet audience!
One of Snow White's trolls got loose...

Never had the need to cheat to get anywhere, don't want to suffer the consequences of living up to it, but to tell you the truth I think today a lot of people wouldn't need to cheat their way to the top, things tend to go by who you know and not what you know these days.

Does it really matter? People have done a lot worse than cheat. I think my judge (if there is one) will be far too busy dealing with the people who destroyed the planet, murderers, rapists and terrorists to even care about someone cheating their way to the top. Don't you???

Okay, so you you have posted a proselytising statement in the guise of a question?
Does that make you feel good?
Get a sense of smug superiority?
Ever consider that you are making a complete pratt of yourself?
Every consider that you might get reported?

what is your question, actually? are you in fact accusing someone of "cheating"?
To get to the Top (top of what?? of the wedding cake???) one need to demonstrate skills, to perform, to be on show and to take risks. If you really think one can get anyway without that, you are really delusional...
