you cant make someone see how amazing they are. its up to the individual to feel happy with themselves. maybe your friend feels lonely and unwanted and has self-esteem issues. who knows hey?

Know what's sad about society today? If anyone admits to liking any part of themselves there will be someone out there who will accuse them of being conceited. I think low self esteem is a huge problem today, and it's heart breaking because there ARE tons of amazing people out there.
It's hard for someone to understand what you see about them because they don't see themselves the same way. For instance, my boyfriend and I didn't grow up together, but we went through many of the same things. We both were tormented brutally and it's affected both of us. We have both said at one point or another that we wish people would have just beaten us up because words do so much more damage. When I look at him I wonder how I got so lucky. He is an INCREDIBLE person and has so much going for him but because of what happened to him growing up, he doesn't feel like that at all. He feels the same way about me as I do of him, but I don't see what he sees.
I think every living person has a blurred vision of who they are, and don't see what others can see, good or bad. We all go through rough times, but that doesn't make us bad people. It makes us survivors. No matter what you feel about yourself, you ARE loved, and if you weren't here, there would be so many sad people. I don't know you, but I KNOW you have a really great friend who loves you so much that they came here to remind you of that.

Ask your friend if they would mind if you put their name up here, and you want to prove to them how amazing they are...and to the people who want to say their little sarcasms, well, you always have them, but it is kind of you to care enough to call for help for your friend...we do all need to stand up for each other and stand by each other,..true, very true.

give them a mirror... haha no jk Tell them and they will say yeh whatever but they will definately be grateful for it and take it all in trust me!!!... tell them all the ways they have helped you!!!... hope this helped
