What do people think about auras and human energy fields?

Do you believe these fields can be seen and if so, can you tell anything about the person's personality/wellbeing? Or can it just be felt in a kind of 'vibey' way? Do you think that positive and negative energy is exchanged through 'auras' and this is why moods can effect others around you?

ummm....new agey. i think peoples moods can affect others around them because moods are contagious. if i'm in a terrible mood, it's pretty likely i'm gonna drag my boyfriend down with me.

what's this cr@p about some people being able to see an aura while others can't? Either it exists or it doesn't. What evidence is there for it's existence? NONE. What instruments can detect it - NONE. Face facts, the human body is not designed to radiate anything apart from excess heat. In addition, what do you mean positive and negative energy? Do you even understand what ENERGY is? Personally, I'd suggest that you go back to school and take up a study of zoology and physics. You've been brainwashed by the new age imbeciles who see "force" everywhere but can't tell you how to detect it, what it does, where it goes and why.

Auras do exist. They are also known as Kirlian Fields. They are related to chakras, acupuncture points and so on. Some philosophies suggest that the aura is actually the soul. I am not convinced of this as people that astral project still have an aura. As far as showing moods is concerned I am open minded. Certainly people can perceive them. I can myself, to a certain extent. However, I cannot see a definite connection between mood and the appearance of an aura. There are many other factors that may apply.

Yes your moods do effect others around you, sometimes you don't even have to have spoken to a person for their mood to affect you, some people are just good at giving out positive vibes, whilst others just seem to give out negative ones, not good for the soul been permanently negative, if you relax, concentrate really hard and look just about an inch or so above a persons head you should be able to see a white glow around them, that's their aura, just keep doing it and eventually you will see their colours too, anyone can do it, you just have to concentrate and believe, good luck.

I don't see people's auras, but it is well possible that some other people can see them. I think most people can sense positive or negative energy coming from someone, whether it has something to do with their aura or not, and I think that feeling this energy effects the way we react to people. For example if you feel negative energy from someone you are likely to become negative back to them.

I think it's interesting to think about this stuff.

Of course there is truth in people having good energy and bad energy, we can all sense it (if someone is in a bad mood its obvious, or a good mood it can be very infectious). Its also no secret that sick people benefit from having a positive mental attitude etc but seeing auras and energy fields is nonsense, its looking too deep into a subject that is in reality very straight forward and down to earth.

Mother nature keeps things very simple- its humans that make it complex

I do believe auras can be seen, I just don't have the ability. A person's energy can be felt as well. I think it's just a matter of how sensitive someone is to that sort of thing.

i do believe that we can see the aura
i have seen it on a few occasions but that was after many years of study and training
i certainly believe that the aura holds our personality and information and from that we can affect the energy around us including that of other people
although i say i have seen it ... this has only been an occasional thing for me , as i tend to see it in a mental image more often than physically in front of me
we can also work on our aura so that we can be more open to others and for them to feel our " vibe " as you put it
the aura can also been seen by kirlean photography and i have had my aura captured on film also
there are more and more experiments being done on this

i can sometimes see auras and beleive they can be effected or even drained by other personalities i call them vampires because the sap your energy endlessly. we can sense the energies of others when you walk in a room and someones just had an argument you can sense it even without looking at the people involved and im hoping that new research will make the energies around us more visable to all in the future.

Yes.

Some people can see auras but many of us can feel them without knowing. If you knwo someone has an ailment you can have teh intent to heal them and being in the vicinity they will pick up on that intent.

Just like when some people walk into a room, everyone turns round, and the otehr way, some people do not get noticed.

I believe an aura can be seen, but not everyone can see them. I had a good friend of mine that could read auras, and she correctly predicted the demise of my first marriage because she said that my ex-wife's and my aura were not compatable. She said this the very first time she ever saw us together and she knew nothing about my ex. We were divorced less than a year later. She also said that my current wife and I were very compatible and we have now been together almost 7 years!
