I replied to your last post and THIS average Christian is anything BUT average, I fight openly for Gay Rights, I am not ashamed of it, and see it as no different than the civil rights movement of the 1960's, WE ARE ALL EQUAL IN GOD'S EYES...........and in his love.

Dear Funaholic,
thanks for clarifying that. There is a warning in the Scriptures about those who have zeal without knowledge. Firstly some of those people who have slogans like "God hates f..." are aware of the sin- but has forgotten that while Jesus always confronted sin with truth- He was always loving and cared most about restoring the sinner and not just condeming the sin. There is a reason God waits till the end of our lives to judge our sins- He is merciful, compassionate, and as the Bible says desiring all to come to repentance. i think some have just not been taught well, while others are plane ignorant.
i've seen some posts on yahoo answers by people who call themselves Christians but upon closer examination you can tell that they don't know much Bible are in truth are really not believers (ie: i've seen post about the KKK and posts degrading woman, etc. by "Christians"). i would say that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is ruly a Christian (and the Bible even teaches this as well- you will know them by their fruits).
hope that helps,
Nickster

Some of those can come across as arrogant since they say I'm saved and you all are gonna burn. Well for starters they cannot know that and actually they sin when they say so since it's presumption. And to believe everything in the scriptures is to be interpreted literally seems childish and ignorant .
I do feel sorry for these ppl because I think they are deluded.
God does love fags. God doesn't love sin. That's a big difference

Hello!! :o) What do I - as a Christian [A guy who at least TRIES to follow the teachings of Christ] think of people who profess to follow Christ and yet create a 'God Hates Fags' website? [And subscribe to that way to thinking] I think that THEY have no idea WHO Christ IS. And are not Christians at all. It's always very important to keep in mind that ANYONE can claim to be anything. If I told you that I was a 'nice guy' and then poked you in the eye over and over again - would you still believe that I was a 'nice guy'? I would hope not. There is no such thing as an 'Unloving Christian'. If someone is unloving - they are NOT a Christian. It really is as simple as that. Craig!! :o)

I hate that type of Christian too.
But don't get me wrong - I am a Christian who believes every word of the bible (and a chemical engineer too).
This doesn't make me smarter or more superior than others. Christians who think that way are giving me a bad name. I hope they spend their time at the dinning out section of yahoo questions or somewhere like that so they do less harm.

Interesting how some people seem to have a complete disconnect between the heterosexual fascist they actually are and the congenial Christian they see themselves as...
Compare for example the answer given above here to your question with another answer the same person gave to one of my questions:
quote WOW ARE WE S...
"no there called normal, and nature cannot give birth to you a person does not two male or two females one of each wow thats a mazing how that happens normalcy gives us life!!!"

God is Love!
God cannot hate, that is what people to do.
So it is preached by many religions.
But also keep in mind that in early Man's quest for "How", he seemed to try and logically figure out how it came to be. Thus all the old biblical books and no NEW ones. God spoke to people a lot then, but now only to crazy people.
The scientists have found the real truth of our earth's creation.

I think God said it best:
Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
God loves everyone. That's a period. another period.
I can't think of anyone in this world that loves me enough to give his child's life for mine; nobody.
I thank God that God does and did.
He loves me, he loves you and that includes everyone.
He did not send His believers to ridicule and hate, but to love and to serve.
That being said, I'm human and I make mistakes.
G'day!

I think all of you , xtian and aethieist alike , have your heads stuck up your !@#$% . You all deal in absolutes , about subjects that you can't really understand . For the record , the average xtian isn't thinking about anything , just like the average aetheist . Fanatics and weirdos are the only ones that would take all this time out to delve this deep into a subject , and you already know what they think .
