NOT at all impossible. I've done it for free. Forget what I used.

Happened to me when I tried to add to a CD originally burned with an older program using Nero.

This looks like the free, unregisterd version will be all you need.

an elementary mistake whilst burning a multisession CD-ROM is to forget approximately to link the archives from the previous consultation(s) into the present one. This ends up in a CD-ROM the place you will see the hot archives yet not one of the previous, except you have a application that facilitates you to circulate with which consultation you look at. maximum recording purposes presently will ask you in case you pick to maintain the advice from the quicker sessions, or will default to preserving it. until now variations of the applying the two defaulted to throwing it away or did no longer help the function in any respect. The archives themselves are not somewhat lost. some classes are available that should help get entry to the "lost" information, which incorporates IsoBuster (section (6-2-20)) and CD-R Diagnostic (6-2-6). some CD recording application will assist you extract the advice song from a particular consultation, which you will then get entry to with IsoBuster or WinImage (6-2-2). A extra clean answer is to apply a "consultation selector", such using fact the single that ships with Roxio application. this permits you to compliment which consultation you notice in residing house windows explorer. some older CD-ROM drives had a "function" that led to them to end finding for sessions after a definite factor, so in case you wrote too a lot of them you will "lose" the advice from the final consultation somewhat than the subsequent-to-final. it is likewise curable with the above ideas, nevertheless you are going to be able to might desire to apply a extra moderen force.

Hey! I say it's possible to reteive data.. really... I've encountered this a lotta times and retreived it quite easlity...

Come on.. cool down & read how works...!!

If u want to make it very very simple, u need to have WIN 98..! I've seen this feature only on WINDOWS 98 & not in anyother newer version at all. By chance if u get WIN 98, just put on the CD u have into u'r CD RW drive and wait for that to read.. When done.., right click on the CD drive icon.., Goto 'properties'. Into the properties window u have tabs on the top like 'general', 'hardware', so and so... There see if u can find a Tab reading 'Volumes'. By clincking on that u can see all the session partitions done on the disc (i.e., records showing the history of each time u write the disc)..!! Click onto the previous session which u wanted and then click 'Apply' button that u read below.. Then 'OK'!! Now, just open u'r disc and see what content it shows... Amazing it shows previously written data.. Like that u can switch to any session and read data in various sessions... But all u need is WIN 98 as OS and a CD RW (writer drive)...

If u can't find WIN 98, just download some CD data retrival softwares that u can find in download.com,

(Try 'http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0.html?tg=dl-2001&qt=Cd%20reader&tag=srch')

This is a search page I've done showing Cd reader softwares to Data retrival.. Download one of them, which has the best review to suit u'r task.. Install and run on u'r disc... These softwares normally show all the partitions earlier done in the CD.. thro' which u can save them to u'r hard disc..

While downloading freely.., check the limitations.. Coz.., more softwares show the partitions but disable saving facilities.. So choose the best one and do it perfectly.. :-)

And one more things; use CD RW again to read u'r disc thro' these softwares.. It'll b more effective..!!! :-)
