Haptonomy is the study of close relation between physical touch and the emotional well being. A child fondled,nursed bathed and kissed by mother ,walked by father and plays closely touching the siblings grows up to become a mature and a loving person. A child of divorced and quarrelling parents develops less . A discarded child who grows in an orphanage develops much less. Among adults couple who closely touch each other holding hands are better adjusted .
Unwanted and ill treated children develop hostility and are prone to crime.
