it's good to order set meals..the same as your date.
it's to represent that both of you are an item.
share the same food at a romantic place, enjoying the same ambience and savouring the same delight.
and so both of you may get messy with ur food rather than only you since the food that you both ordered is the same!

something that doesn't have a sauce or crumbs (like fried chicken) if you're worried about being messy. salad is out too... dressing. burgers aren't so good either, they can make a mess. a beef or chicken dish that uses fork and knife is a good choice. stay away from fish too!

it doesn´t have to be spaghetti.... try some kinds of pasta -like raviolis - sorrentinos
