Depending on how old she is or looks, continue feeding her kitten formula and/or a special milk formula.
Kittens usually don't graduate to the hard stuff until they are at least 2 months old.

Kittens need cat milk, which you can buy at pet shops and even some supermarkets. If it is an older kitten (at least 2 months) water is fine - although make sure the water dish doesn't smell of washing up liquid, and let the water sit for a while, so it loses some of the chemical smell that tends to be in tap water. You could offer it the cat milk and water. Don't worry if the kitten doesn't drink too much water, as cats usually don't. When we got our kitten we were reccomended to give it cat milk until she was 1 or 2 months old, and after that water would be fine.

How old is your kitten? Kittens younger than 6 weeks of age should only be given a store-bought formulated milk replacement for kittens, then they should be graduated to moistened/mushed kitten food (canned or dry, mixed with the milk into kind of like a wet oatmeal) for feedings along with a very shallow/small bowl of fresh water. DO NOT feed your kitty regular milk that you or I drink, as this will give her severe diarrhea and upset her stomach greatly.
If she's older than 6 weeks (generally weighing at least 1 lb., has all of her baby teeth, eyes are open and have been open for at least three weeks, ears are completely unfolded and upright, and she can run around, climb, jump and play without falling down or being unsteady or wobbly), then leaving her regular water in a small, shallow bowl that she can easily access 24/7 and feeding either a canned or dry store-bought kitten formula kitten food is the best as it has the scheduled nutrients, vitamins and minerals she will need to grow up into a happy, healthy cat.
I would suggest that you only feed her chicken or fish as a once a week "dessert" because although they're each good protein and the fish has fish oil that's really good for her fur, they're simply not good as her entire source of food because they don't have any vitamins or minerals or the nutrients she needs everyday to become and stay a healthy little kitty.
Hope this helps & enjoy your new found friend!!

Once a kitten is weaned they no longer need milk. They are lactose intolerant of cows milk so all it will do is give her diarrhea. It would be best if you got her a good quality kitten food like, Iams. That way she would be getting all the other nutrients that she needs. Thank you for taking in a stray kitten. Take her to the vet and get her shots and dewormed. Good luck.

No, you shouldn't. Cats are lactose in tolerant and if you give her milk it can only be goat milk or the cat milk specially formulated out of the pet section in the store. Giving her milk can upset her tummy and cause a bad case of diarrhea. I would get her a good quality kitten food and she should be fine.

Milk is definitely not fine, I'm afraid. Cow's milk contains lactose which is bad for cats. You can buy special "milk" that is suitable for cats, from the supermarket. Better still, just give her water, which is what they would drink in the wild. Presumably she is old enough to be weaned, as you are giving her solids.

No cow's milk -- kitten formula is fine up to about 8 weeks of age; after that, they don't need it. Chicken and fish are good, but make sure they are well cooked to eliminate bacteria and parasite infections.

You can go to the store and get "Pet's Milk", some people give it to their babies. I had 4 kittens and their mom was killed by a car when they were 2 days old and I gave them that and they ALL lived. careful with the chicken though.

Cats are lactose intolerante so it is not a good idea to give them milk as this could make them sick
