Hey Siti*,
When Jesus was crucified on the cross his death on the cross was sufficient to pay for all sins for all times. In the OT every time a person sinned they had to sacrifice an unblemished animal to pay for their sin (Jesus followed God's ways perfectly) and was the perfect sacrifice for sin- so that God's wrath (anger with man for his sin was satisfied- because God is a God also of perfect justice). So when Jesus died on the cross He was able to pay for all sins, and so now people have to make a choice whether they want to accept Jesus' forgiveness or not. There is no need for anyone to be crucified for sin again. When Jesus was on the cross he said it is finished (which is the same term a marathon runner would say at the end of the race).
Hope that helps- be happy to answer any more of your questions.

Jesus was crucified to die for our sins. He took the responsibility of our sins, so that through Jesus we are sinless and so can be saved and have a guarantee that we can go to Heaven. It doesn't really matter how much good deeds you can do, it will always fall short of Gods standards. So how can anyone get into Heaven with their own accord? We get only get in through Gods grace which is Jesus. The sacrifice of Jesus was an act to save people like us i.e for our salvation.
Forgiveness of sins is a different matter. As today or tomorrow, if we sin we have to repent and ask God for forgiveness. In receiving Gods forgiveness, we are told to forgive people who have done bad things towards us.

Jesus was not crucified off course.
People from the time of Adam had sinned a lot, not less than now... People were always sinning. It is only personal responsibility to pay for the sins.
Christians beleive in story about Jews had crucified "Son of God". Thats sounds very stupid as if Jesus is God ( part of Trinity), means God let Jews crucified HIMSELF???
I do not know know who is more insane - me, asking this or others who believe in this??

Christ is the one and only sacrifice for our sins. No one else needs to die for our sins. God loves us so much he sent his one and only sun to die for everyone's past present and future sins
