I recently just ordered a Mason pearson detangler brush, and I was wondering if anyone who owned one is happy with theirs?

i don't own one myself - i'm a guy and i wear my hair short - but my first serious girlfriend had fine mid-back length blonde hair which looked drop-dead gorgeous but was a nightmare to manage. it was dry, tangled easily, got split ends in dry weather, and matted if it got wet. (as i say she looked wonderful when her hair was under control).

about three years into our relationship i bought her a mason-pearson for her birthday - and it was magic.

since then whenever i really care about a woman (not just the ones i am in a relationship with) i seriously consider buying them a mason-pearson brush. it never occurs to people that something as simple as a hairbrush can be of superlative quality, so your first mason-pearson is always a surprise.

and the guy who buys you that first mason-pearson is one you will always remember (which is what i'm counting on).
