Did that make sense? I'm not very good with writing and grammar. Anyways. I was on my boyfriends myspace the other night and his friend (this girl) commented him and wrote a really weird word to him...something like "zelnak, or zorlak" or something. So when I asked my boyfriend what that meant, he just responded with "nothing", and when asked again he said " its just an old joke between me and a friend", He want to say anything else. Of course I inquired a little bit more about the joke, then he finally got mad and said i should just drop the subject. Im irritated, and im curious and frustrated why can't he tell me what the meaning of this word or joke means. Im also frustrated because hes keeping a secret. Should I be mad about this still and keep on asking him? or should i just let it go...?

Let it go, sometimes people share a joke that is kinda stupid to everyone else but not to them. Let it go or it will cause too many problems, as long as it is only one joke no biggie

Something that happened before he met you right? Maybe it was something he knows you won't approve of and doesn't want to worry you or hurt your feelings. As far as secrets, are you ready to come to him and lay all your past in the open for him? Of course not it makes no difference its in the past. Leave it alone. If he's honest enough to tell you the truth but doesn't want to tell you some embarrassing or hurtful thing let it go. everyone has some things in the past they are hesitant to share with someone else but that doesn't indicate in any way they care about you any less. So you got any secrets? really?

dont give urself unnecessary headaches. this is what u do, pretend u aint hurt, then one of these fine days joke with a male friend of yoz (but warn him), say something that he wont understand then realy have a good laugh.... repeat the word till he gets irritated. wen he asks what it was all about, tell him "nothing"... if he insists, remind him of that word...pick it up from there, be rest assured he will tell u! i do that to my dude

Let it go, he has the right to his past just as you do.
If you have a friend and you are close he should not expect you ot divulge your secrets either.

they're probably talking about something they're not supposed to. or maybe it is really an inside joke, but i don't see why he would get mad over you asking him about it

I wouldn't let it eat at me. Maybe it's something embarassing he'd rather you not know about.
