Hi Ladies and girls,

I have a question. I met this guy on internet and talked to him on the phone few times. I met him on a dating site (Its a paid site). So may be in a week or so I will be meeting him. There is nothin as i am having feelings or anything we just talk casually. We will be meeting more like acquaintances nothin like date or stuff.

WHAT I WANT TO ASK IS HOW SHOULD I CHECK THE FACT THAT HE HAS GIVEN ME. (as i already had a bad experience a guy was something else than wht he told me) DEMANDING THE ID CARD ON FIRST MEETING WOULD BE SOMETHING RUDE I GUESS. I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE HE IS WHAT HE HAS TOLD ME ABOUT HIMSELF.

PLEASE HELP
THANKS

i would jokingly ask to see his id. i did that before when a guy came to my house and wanted me to go for a ride just to talk. i told him, i don't know you, you might want to kidnap me. he pulled out so many different id cards, for ex(drivers lic, sscard, credit cards, work id badge, car ins, voters card)needless to say, i did go for a ride with him, and had fun. if your friend is offended than he obviously have something to hide. he should respect the fact that you are cautious.

You can only really know a person that way by meeting them through a mutual acquaintenance.

Ask him to meet you in front of the police station. If that doesn't scare the crap out of him he's probably ok.
