Well, I grew up in Mississippi but I live in Louisiana now...here is the recipe we always used...

1 cu. flour (plain)
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8oz Cream Cheese
1 cup confectioners sugar
2- 8oz containers of whipped topping
1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding
31/2 cups milk

CRUST: Mix together the flour, butter and pecans. Press in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees and let cool.

First layer: Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar and 1 of the cartons of whipped topping. Pour over cool crust.

Second Layer: Mix pudding and milk together and pour over first layer.

Third Layer: Spread the other carton of whipped topping over all and garnish with marshmallows or pecans. Refrigerate up to 2 hours. ENJOY!
