For me, there are many religions, most with which I wouldn't concur. But true spirituality is not about becoming a religious person; it is about finding who you really are: beyond your conscious self, beyond that name of you call yours. There is something deeper, something hard to recognize at first glance but it is there. It is your inner self that which in essence defines you.
On another point I believe some religious people that I have seen and heard, are really 0!!! spiritual people. If anything, they are a disgrace to what they preach. There are people who say you will "burn in hell" and others who condemn you! (Even though it is said only GOD will judge you - sorry for all you christians out there). I have no problem with religions, other than those that directly or indirectly condemn other people and their beliefs. You must always remember that religions are a group of rites that define the way you honour your beliefs. Whereas true spirituality is the way in which you learn inner wisdom and happiness. Religions are a way to escape from the fear of death; true spirituality is a way to conquer the fear of death.
I really hope I didn't offend anyone. I find it better to share and learn together, than to hide and critize from afar.

Spirituality is the individuals relationship with his/her own inner self and the creator. Religion is the perverted version of spirituality.
In true spirituality, we can take and give advises. But the life is to be managed by himself. But in Religion spirituality is imposed on individuals and that is the reason most of the believers are misguided.
Like every individual looks different the spiritual paths for each individual is different from the rest. Because, each of us are at different points as far as spirituality is concerned. Principles in general applicable but each has to decide his life on the basis of where he/she stands.
Religions play the largest role in misguiding spiritual travelers.

well depends on how someone looks at it. if u are going to take all the goodness from a given religion, then the earth will be a blissful Heaven. if u are always going to find fault with religion for the actions of a man, then the earth will be a mess. so rather than differences, i think we should come for the same principals and teachings. and let me tell u that no one man can be suceeful all by himself. its always a team work.

Organized religion is for those who believe that when they die, they might go to hell. Spirituality is for those who already have been to hell.

I'm not indian so you'd have to ask a native. I don't buy that spirit talk. Oh, and about religion that's easy. God and Lucifer are insane. God think's he's right, Lucifer thinks he's right. None are wrong, none are right. Peace.
