The only way to make sure you won't become pregnant is to remain celibate. Birth control pills are very reliable. Condoms are another popular method of bith control, and they will also help protect you against sexually-transmitted diseases. Peeing to wash the sperm will not help, nor will taking a shower or washing down there. Ask your doctor. If you think you may be pregnant, take the EMC pill within 72 hours of intercourse.

No - not technically but it works for me - I get right up, pee and then rinse really well with a shower head and I have never gotten pregnant though I do not recommend this - for all I know my bf is sterile- so don't do that. It does, however, prevent infection and UTIs so you should always do it anyways - I don't know how some women don't.

But - why not go on some birth control - there are so many low to no side effect options that are so worth taking before it is too late. Like Yasmin - the pill and they even make a patch now that you change once a week I think. There is also a Depo shot that lasts for 3 mos at a time and a copper IUD - so don't rely on that alone. Funny that you asked that though. haha :oP

FYI also: Planned Parenthood can give out Plan B scripts if you ever have unprotected sex - you can take these emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours of that intercourse and it will stop the pregnancy from happening - it is not an abortion pill.

Plus brith control pills help clear skin and regulate your period - don't wait til it's too late to get on one. And just telling anyone with a sex question that almost every STD and HIV have NO physical symptoms - you can't see anything but it can spread and condoms do NOT prevent the transmission of many of them. The only way to know is to be tested with that partner before and after every different sexual partner. And STDs and HIV can be spread through oral sex, anal sex and intercourse. Not saying that you didn' t know all of this but I have seen some questions and they are scary...

:o)

peeing after sex will not stop pregnancy, the female urinary tract and the uterus are two different pipelines so to speak. urinating after sex will only help to push out sperm but in no way does it get rid of it all.
the best course of action is to always use a condom and to be on the pill, neither have a 100% sucess rate but used in conjunction with each other your chances of falling pregnant are dramatically decreased.

No...you pee through your urethral opening. Sperm is in your vaginal hole...nothing will STOP pregnancy. But condoms can PREVENT pregnancy.

Not a chance in Hell. Once at least ONE sperm cell gets into your egg, that's IT. It's too late. The man can ejaculate his semen into a woman's vagina and have his sperm hit her egg WAYYYYY FASTER than you can ever possibly even HOPE to urinate it out, even if you have sex on a toilet.

No. Don't have sex if you don't know how a person gets pregnant.
