If you have to eat dogs and cats, you should eat them Filipino style. The Chinese just don't get that nuanced flavor right...

Makes me want to have some right now.

Yay for Filipino food! Probably one of the most diverse cuisines with influences from all over the world: Spain, China, the Middle East, other Southeast Asian nations like Indonesia and Malaysia, and even the Americas.

Go to a Filipino restaurant and see if they serve cats and dogs. That's such a poor perception of the food and the culture.

Hundred Islands Grill in Santa Clarita, California if you're around that area.

Cerritos, West Covina, Eagle Rock, and Carson have plenty of Filipino restaurants.

OR you could go to the Philippines!

Oh my word, I'm hungry!

Filipino food is simply great! so flavorful yet so simple to prepare.

lechon, lumpiang ubod, adobo, stuffed roasted chicken with gravy, kare-kare, sinigang sa miso, caldereta, morcon, embotido and all those yummy grilled food. seafood is also at its best with ginger onion king crabs, tiger prawns, crablets, steamed fish, camaron rebosado-- mmmmm..

dessert is unbelievable. oh-so-tender chiffon cakes, buttercakes, native rice cakes (bibingka, puto, palitaw, cutsinta, kakaning ube) fresh fruit shakes, halo-halo--

the thinking that MOST Filipinos eat dogs and cats as a regular food is simply NOT TRUE. i dont. none of my friends or family members does. while some people may have a "different" taste in food like in any other country, most Filipinos eat regular meat: beef, pork, and chicken. we eat fish and a lot of vegetables. i've entertained a lot of foreign visitors and they all loved Filipino food especially the grilled ones. they say that we make awesome barbecue.
