he kind of used his forearm and put it across my neck to choke me. i only had one hand free. if he does it again i really want to hurt him bad. but i dont know how.

Hun, I've been there, don't let there be a next time, doesn't matter if he was angry about this that or the other, there is no excuse. It hurts & it's sad, but you deserve so much more than that! If he ever lays a hand on you, go for the balls, knee him in the balls...... By hanging round, he think's that it's fine, it will probably keep happening! There some hot sweet guy out there who is so nice, he would never dream of doing that! Please don't let him get another chance, it's hard I know but no one should do that to anyone. Good luck...

while he comes toward you you hurry up and bend down and pop him right in hes stuff so you can get a good look at him when he bends down and look him in the eye and say how does it feel to be out of breath sucka, then make sure you wear some boots and then kick him right up the nose and watch him fall to the ground use all your power and tell him the next time you wanna hold some one up make sure its in your night mares because you have got to lose your mind to do something so dumb. if you cant do that then find the most heaviest thing and bus him in the face, the back, and the nuts and tell him you wanna try it again, or if you cant do that call 911
dont let no man beat on you if he hits you then he'll hit his mother a man who fits women has no respect and should have the HELL beat out of them as MADEA would say

Tell him that love and violence don't go hand in hand. Was he trying to kill u or what? The guy sounds like a psycho so i think its better u leave him before he gets out of control. Next time he might succeed in choking u and then what? Run while u can dear sister!

There shouldn't be a next time - he obviously has anger management problems and abuse just gets worse with time - the next time he will hit you and there is NOTHING that you can say or do to make him stop. He has no control obviously and a lack of respect for women. They will also apologize and then do it over and over and say they love you and didn't mean it but it will happen again and again and get worse -
I would get out now - this showed you who he is - really. It came out. They all hide it for a while but it comes out and then they can't hide it anymore - it gets worse. They will convince you it isn't abuse but it is. You deserve better - get out now. Tell him to get some counseling for anger management or you won't see him again. - Draw the line - that is it. Do not see him again no matter how much you love him, he obviously can't show his love for you in the right way. He will also end up blaming you for his outburts and just know - that it is never your fault and that no matter what you do or don't do, he would do it again and again.
Please don't go back to him. My ex almost killed me - I was never "that girl" and then one day out of the blue something like this happened and I took his word and believed him and accepted his apology that it would never happen again and it did - he almost killed me. Get out now. Please.

No real man ever uses any force against a woman. Leave and ignore his pleas for forgiveness etc. that is bs. he cannot change and will become worse.
And if you must use any self defence, get a grip on his balls, and don't let go especially when you feel bad for him because during that instant of hesitation, he will make mashed potatoes out of your face... Lastly leave, get a better man, while you can.

No guy in hist right frame of mind will do that to a girl, especially to his gf. Leave him at once, before things get more ugly! If you love him and if he truly love and respect you, he must seek professional help. Fighting him back might save you one time, but it will not be the solution to his problem.

First, I have to just say WTF about the first comment.
About your problem, I'm sorry but it doesn't sound good. You really don't want to necessarily hurt him because it may provoke more violence, but I would confront him about it before it does happen again. If he doesn't seem genuinely sorry or scared of what he did, you need to drop him like a bad habit. I'm sorry that this happened to you, he's just a punk who feels tough because he can choke his girlfriend, what a wuss.

Trying kicking him in the nuts.
My wife brought me down this way once, it was purely by accident. I was teasing her with wiggling my butt in her face, and going, "Nyah, nyah, nyah...kiss my butt..." and she got mad at me, and went to kick me, and I turned, and nailed me right in the family jewels.
I staggered out the door and dropped to the top of the stair landing like a sack of potatoes, crying and laughing at the same time--it hurt so BAD!
The worse embarrassment was that the neighborhood watched the whole thing unfold--since the front door was open and all.

is BF and GF suppose to hurt each other? He will only hurt you worst if you hurt him back, the best is to leave him. A guy who hurt the girl to that extend don't deserve a GF.
