Hi!
It is easy to stop mastubation... just don't touch the lever...
Mastubation is easier than having sex... but it gets lonely after a while... Instead of trying to "chat up a lady" for the sole reason of sex, how about chatting up a lady for a friendship. Try to be her friend first... then maybe she will become a "friend with benefits" at a later time... you know what I mean?
If you are too shy to even meet a woman to be her friend... well... get over it. What is the worse that can happen if you approach a woman? She smacks you one and walks away? Who cares... you would not be the first man to get that done to him. What is the best that can happen? You meet a nice woman who you can get to know and perhaps build a meaningful relationship with?
Other things you can do... You should try speed dating or joining a book club or something.
If you can't overcome you confidence problem with talking to women, well, I guess you are going to be mastubating the rest of your life... or hiring hookers. Hey, with a hooker, the only speaking really required of you are for price negotiations. (smile)
Do me a favor, read this article...

Maybe you should save your money and think about attending something like what is described in the above article...
Best Wishes...

Firstly, there is nothing wrong with masturbation. Some people do that more than others... male or female. Some people do it once a week, others do it 3 time a day, maybe more!!!!
What encourages masturbation... particularly on a regular basis, is having free time.
Do you have a lot of free time on your hands?
Take up a hobbie... do something that takes up parts of the day, that should reduce the 'pleasure' number!!!
In my opinion, there is nothing wrong doing this once a day, but if you do more.... you obviously have some time to kill.
As for lack of self confidence.... the best way to learn is to practice, practice, practice!!!! Speak to the mirror... sounds daft? However, it will help increase your skills. Also, dont try chatting up girls, just practice talking to them. You dont need to chat em up... just have a nicely, friendly conversation whenever you get the chance.
Dont be shy, they wont bite you!!!! lol
Another reason I think of your 'shyness' is because they may be something thats holding you back to chatting in the first place. Are you ashamed of anything? If so... is this what relating to your confidence talking to women. Are you afraid of taking it 'one step further', like a date or going to your place for a "night"?
There could be more to this than you think..... and maybe you should give this sort detailed thought!!! Did anything happen in your past or school days that may have effected this 'self-confidence' issue?
If you are not confident enough to speak to someone about this.... you could always write another question on ANSWERS. Be specific, and maybe me or someone else can help you truely.
Be proud and stand tall!!!
Good luck!!

First of all, there is nothing wrong with masturbation and it is completely normal. Practicing with yourself can be a very good way to prepare for pleasuring a future partner.
Shyness can be difficult to overcome sometimes however, if you have hobbies or other interests and remain active in the community then, opportunities will arise when the time is right. If you are the dreamy type and hoping for the perfect person then, patience is your best friend because, for the first 25 years of life, many of us are still learning about ourselves anyway. Only after this stage of life do we truly know what is right for us. However, there are always heartbreaks along the way regardless but, the reward is worth the respect you keep for yourself.

There's nothing wrong with masturbation. There's no need to stop.
Stopping masturbating wont start you talking to girls. Don't worry about it, unless you are doing it three times a day every day. When the time is right, then the right girl will turn up. Don't try to force things, and don't listen too much to others.
When I was young I fell into the same category as you, but have no regrets now. I was 20 years old before I got laid!!

Put the dk down and step away from the computer.
Seriously, it's ok to masturbate, it's natural, it relieves stress, and lowers the risk of prostate cancer. Just don't get carried away and try to branch out a little by going to the bar with friends or doing something that gets you socializing. The more experience you get talking with people or otherwise, the more confident and comfortable you'll become!

If you enjoy it why stop? but it should be only part of a well balanced sex life and not an obsession. Keep trying to date and if you are shy just try and say "Hi" or smile everytime you pass a girl in the street and have eye contact.
Dont worry it will happen one day. Good luck

Well yeah it's easier it's always right there but why would you want to stop something natural just don't do it so much? Just don't think that is how it will always be because it won't.

Maybe your'e just feeling guilty after you masturbated because you think it's a bad thing to do, that's why you want to stop it. Don't worry, it is just naturally normal to masturbate. It's also releases you tension.
