Okay , I'm gonna try to make this quick . Try to keep up and please excuse grammatical errors .
First there was nothing , but Nothing in specific is SOMETHING . This causes a ripple in the Nothing ( like a pebble in the center of a still pond ) . Nothing ripple makes a circle , goes outward . Eventually falls back in upon itself . Makes a point ( a dot ) . This is the first realization of a " Something " Call it what you want ( Anything ? ) . Point creates counterpoint ( a line ? ) , creates balance point ( triangle ? ) , creates decision point ( square ? ) , creates a perspective point ( pyramid ? ) , creates counterperspective point etc. etc. etc . . Eventually all possibilities are conceptualized . All possibilities and all of it made of Nothing ( What a waste ? ) . Magick is born ( The Dragon ! ) . Magick Creates the first Something ( Hydrogen Atoms to be specific ) .
BIG BANG
( you see that is kinda like The Dragon's little joke . Science IS Magic , and when the scientists finally get all the answers they are looking for , they will then accept it and it will all be so very funny . )

I am an Atheist. I do NOT belive entirely in the Big Bang theory. Yes I do agree with the Expansion theory. But where I have to get off of the Big Bang band wagon is when it comes to "Nothing". When people say that before the Big Bang nothing existed I have to disagree.
This is why. Try to define nothing. Every time you give it perrameters or a discription it becomes something. Something had to exist before the Big Bang.
In place of nothing I think there was simply a diffrent state of the universe we live in. We cannot test my theory(making it a belief) because we have no way to test things prior to the big bang. If we recreated the Big Bang then we would not exist anymore(it would kill all life).
This is a belief I hold. I do not go arround telling people they have to belive in a perpetual universe that is seperated by a Big Bang. I let other attempt to develop more plausable theories.

I believe in it...In 1929, in the California Mount Wilson observatory, an American astronomer by the name of Edwin Hubble observed the stars with a giant telescope, he found out that the light from them was shifted to the red end of the spectrum and that this shift was more pronounced the further a star was from the earth. According to the recognised rules of physics, the spectra of light beams travelling towards the point of observation tend towards violet while the spectra of the light beams moving away from the point of observation tend towards red. During Hubble’s observations, the light from stars was discovered to tend towards red. This meant that they were constantly moving away from us. The universe can be thought of as the surface of a balloon being blown up. Just as the points on the surface of a balloon move apart from each other as the balloon is inflated, so do the objects in space move apart from each other as the universe keeps expanding. Albert Einstein had concluded after the calculations he made in theoretical physics that the universe could not be static. The expansion of the universe implied that if it could travel backwards in time, the universe would prove to have originated from a single point. The calculations showed that this ‘single point’ that harboured all the matter of the universe should have ‘zero volume’ and ‘infinite density’. The universe had come about by the explosion of this single point with zero volume. This great explosion that marked the beginning of the universe was named the ‘Big Bang’ and the theory started to be so called.

The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists in a widely accepted theory, popularly known as the ‘Big Bang Theory’. It is supported by observational and experimental data gathered by astronomers and astrophysicists for decades. According to this theory, the whole universe was initially one big mass (Primary Nebula). Then there was a ‘Big Bang (Secondary Separation) which resulted in the formation of Galaxies. These then divided to form stars, planets, the sun, the moon, etc. The origin of the universe was unique and the probability of it occurring by ‘chance’ is zero.
The Qur’an contains the following verse, regarding the origin of the universe:
“Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder ?” [AlQur’an 21:30]
The striking congruence between the Qur’anic verse and the Big Bang Theory is inescapable! How could a book, which first appeared in the deserts of Arabia 1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific truth?
THERE WAS AN INITIAL GASEOUS MASS BEFORE THE CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE
Scientists say that before the galaxies in the universe were formed, celestial matter was initially in the form of gaseous matter or smoke. In short, huge gaseous matter or clouds were present before the formation of the galaxies. To describe initial celestial matter, the word ‘smoke’ is more appropriate than gas. The following Qur’anic verse refers to this state of the universe.
“Moreover, He comprehended In His design the sky, And it had been (as) smoke: He said to it And to the earth: ‘Come ye together, Willingly or unwillingly.’ They said: ‘We do come (together), in willing obedience”. [Al-Qur’an 41:11]
Again, this fact is a corollary to the Big Bang Theory and was not known to the Arabs during the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). What then, could have been the source of this knowledge ?

It is possible for religious people to reconcile scientific knowledge with religious belief. There is no requirement that all religious people believe that the world was created in 6 literal earth days. For instance, the big bang theory is not inconsistent with the Genesis description of God's creating the universe with a word. There are other ways of reconciling the age of the universe with Genesis.

Interesting responses; THeory is just that, THEORY. More or less subjective thought or imaginative conjecture. Think about it, suppose GOD, being a Master Creator,,, decides to create the world....does GOD need to start it with a BANG....supposing a explosion is orderly and creative....hmmmm well, the bombs that blow up cars dont give us much of a good result for life...so perhaps that theory has a few problems. Why not think, ok,,,difficult for some, but your asking a good question, so, lets use our mind....observe surroundings...what do you see in your world....homes,,,built,, your pc, built by a technician...your body is the house for your soul...and it was, what,,,,banged into existance,,,,no, I think not...but artfully and skillfully designed and fabricated to such exquisite form that a young woman stirs the heart and mind of every man that gazes upon her beauty....so, you think,,,my body was formed, created to be and brought into reality through wonderful miraculous procedure, and we grew from a mere egg/sperm into the adult form....and this was accomplished by a BANG.....I think not. But then, who needs to think...when obviously, as some say,,,its just "Bullshit"... which brings to mind,,,,who brings food from the earth....gently, slowly, with rain in due season, and sun in the right time...Imagine, food resulting from a BIG BANG....no, that wont produce what we have, see and live in each day. NO, I vote for Creation, not as a once upon a time long ago ...but as a Daily, every moment comes into being for all and everything by the Will of GOD,,,who is Creating every moment of every day....both time and substance which we experience as we experience it because it pleases GOD to make it thus and so. SIncerely

It is interesting to think that the physical universe began as a singularity. We find that material things are composed of the same elements, with living things sharing Carbon, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorous, and Sulfur.
I would also like to look more into the verse from Quran (Pickthall translation):
Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and We made every living thing of water? Will they not then believe?
(21:30)
It is interesting that examining the physical world (science) is offered in Quran as proof for belief, not against it.
Let us know what your conclusion is after you study this subject more.

funny to hear the arguements against this theory
funny because same person is trying to prove its god who created everything out of nothing and then says there is no way big bang can be true
about nothing existed before big bang is utter bs we just dont have enough resources to find that out yet its like until we find a cure for cancer we say "nope cancer doesn't exists"
i believe in it and only religion that know actually talks about big bang theory and planets made out of gas is islam in their holy book big tumbs up to islamists

If you could go to a junk yard and randomly pick out various pieces of junk and put them in a pile, then pound the pile with a sledge hammer until it turned into a TV... then I would believe the "big bang" theory. In other words... the absolute order of the laws of the universe was not an accident.

i have no idea about if the theory is true or not but this is how i see it. Something happend a long time ago to make us living. and now that were alive who cares what happened in the past is that information really going to help us!? instead think for the future and what we can do to help ourselves
