I want to know if it will lessen the 'damage' done by eating chocolate (or any fattening foods)

Laxatives will do far more damage to you than chocolate will.

Digestion is where food is actually absorbed into the body as glucose/fat/protein and this is done in the small intestine which is just under the stomach. As laxatives target the large intestine to not absorb water but to release it this causes the loose stools you will get from laxatives. Therefore absorption of the food has already occured before the laxative removes any waste.
the only reason you will get a weight loss is because water is removed from the body rather than absorbed, thus dehydrating the body.

no, and laxitives are just bulemia out the other end. if you are already having body image problems, you may want to see a councelor about it.
