Are you getting any fresh air? If there is a window, open it...this canned air is probably unhealthy...
Drink pure water...try ginseng, ginger, other herbs....try adding some color to your environment, red etc. if you can...
is it boring work? Some of your needs are NOT being met.....think about what you would really LIKE to do...
then go for it...... Good luck !

Ideally, you should identify the underlying reasons first why are you always sleepy at work.

If you feel you haven't had a good sound sleep the night before, maybe you could try adjusting your body clock by going to bed early, and passing out on night gigs so that you could gain back your energy when you report for work.

Second, do you still find your job interesting? Or are you considering it as routinary? If you do, try to devise a new way by which you approach the challenges in your work. This way, it will help your mind think, consequently forcing your creative juices to come out naturally.

Third, the food that you eat can have effects on your office productivity. Staying away from too much carbohydrates during lunch time will initially help you devoid yourself of sleepiness. Try eating more of protein rich foods as this will sharpen your mind, and it will make you alert too.

Fourth, if you are doing purely office work, what you can do is move your sight away from the monitor and look somewhere else every fifteen minutes. This will help you from being bored.

Fifth, if you are no longer interested with your job, you might want to consider resigning and finding a new one that will fire up your interest. You will only be creating negative feedback with your output if you keep on feeling sleepy and not doing something to resolve it.

Does you office or workplace have fluorescent lighting? That caused a lot of people fatigue.

Is it another type of eyestrain? Have you had your eyes checked?

If you can't find a reason for being tired, try taking a walk during your lunch time and see if that helps.

Eat breakfast every morning.

Try a few things like this and see if it helps you at all. If not and if there is not a medical or physical reason, maybe this is not the job for you. Are you extremely bored at work? Do you wake up after you get off work or does your fatigue continue?

Good luck with resolving this problem.

We are in the dark ages of work environments. We are forced to work under flourescent lights which make you tired, and give you a headache. The air lacks oxygen, and is stale. Perfumes cause you to feel sick. We have to get up early in the morning sometimes not getting enough sleep, then we drink coffee to stay awake, which causes us to be irritable, and causes insomnia.

i think your job is not that busy because if you have many things to work with your body keeps awake and active. Or if not you are bored with your job already .
