Sometimes I'm sitting in a chair, reading a book or on the computer and my mind perceives something like i'm floating away or my head is elastic and stretching in one direction... then it comes back and does it again a few times. kind of like a dizzy feeling.

That is called being lightheaded...also feeling disconnected. Sometimes, it can be related to stress or anxiety or being overly tired or dehydration. Sometimes it is caused by cold medicine or other medications, or drugs. Or it might be your sinuses or an inner ear problem. If it happens rather frequently, maybe talk to your doctor, but it happens. I get it sometimes when I'm very nervous or I have a sinus headache. If it doesn't happen all that often, it's not a big deal. Have a cup of hot tea and relax.

Oh yeah, astral projection. Some people get aggravated by it(you really shouldn't). So unless its really irritating, you might want to get into it. Its kinda neat.
