Has anyone ever tried one of those marine calenders pies? YOu microwave it and its a small size and its like chicken or somethig. How would you perfer to eat it? just bit from bite? or taking off the top crust and mixing it in, or jus mixing everything up so its like porridge?

I like to start in the middle then move on to mixing some of the outer crust into the center. Trouble with pot pies is that they are very hot and it takes some patience waiting for them to cool down enough to eat them without burning your mouth. ;)

I like to cook it in the oven, then turn it upside down in a big bowl. I poke a hole in the top and let all the steam rise out, like a volcano. Then I have to let it cool forever...otherwise, Ill burn my tounge and never be able to taste it. I like to eat the outside edge crust with pie filling-its my least favorite part of the crust. I \ eat the side and top (bottom) crust seperately from the inside goodness...Mmmmm, then the top, which is actually the bottom-is eaten last. I like to eat that part with other parts of the pie, chunks of meat, lots of that gravy stuff....Mmmmm...pot pies. Now you got me hungry for a beef or chicken or turkey or any pot pie! Yum!

Marie Callender's pot pies are the best, aside from KFCs. I prefer to stir mine up a lot like a porridge, and then eat it.

Prefer the cheaper brands like Springfield, Swanson etc.
The MC pot pies seem to be a little richer and not quite as nice
as their regular pies like peach or lemon meringue etc.

mmmm yum! Its like a Reese's there is no wrong way to eat it!
I eat it the same way that i eat a taco salad mix it up a little then eat from the sides, then some from the middle again. some from the sides then some from the middle again.

I crush the crust with a spoon and mix it all together, then eat. It's to your preference of course.
