i happen to respect other peoples beliefs, but it seems instead of actually dealing with a problem....i hear that God will take car of us or he'll have to answer to God........in the mean time, this earth is going to hell in a hand basket, and God is sitting back and letting it happen....when, do you think, he might step in? I hope very soon!!!!!

Here's the hard part: Pretend she never existed, like it was all a dream, don't call her, that will make you the smaller person, be the bigger person since you deserve better, what she did to you on Valentines Day was immature, especially after dating for four years. This person wasted allot of your time and through it out the window. Go out tonight, even it it is only yourself, don't drink and call or feel sorry for yourself, this will only cause you embarrassment! I know your hurting..This will eventually will go away in time. Remember "She decided she didn't want to be with you" so the door is open for you to get out and see what you have been missing for four years. You honestly need to do this for yourself.
She doesn't know, but what she did was give you the best valentines day present you will ever get! A new start and a new beginning, use it to your advantage. You will look back on this and Thank God this happened now instead of 4 more wasted years of YOUR life. Today does suck, stay Strong and I promise you your life is going to be so much more exciting and you are going to be happy. If you continue to call and call her, she will think of you as needy and won't want you. She is going to rethink what she did to you today and will be hurt, if you act like you could care less. Girls always want the ones they can't have. That is who you are now to her. Let her suffer,realizing what a mistake she made. This will drive her crazy. Right now she is on cloud 9 thinking you will take her back, OH, is she stupid!
Your life isn't ruined, hers is..She lost someone special, and gave you a gift to let to live life and find someone you deserve. You are not getting back at her, your teaching her what an idiot she is and what she lost and what you gained without her. SO when You eventually talk to her, tell her thank you for what she did...

People need to feel someone is looking out for them. They need to feel there is something more to the world. This saying 'god will look out for us' thing is just a Fraze that people say to say so that they don't have to deal with the situation. If there is a god then would she let people make a war to show that they believe in him more.
I believe that the bible was an interpretation of a man back in the time and people were not meant to take it literally however metaphorically. God is your conscious and the devil is when you do something that is immoral. God is just a feeling inside that you that is a positive emotion.

The sort of things people usually leave 'in God's hands' tend to be things like people dying in hospitals after having the necessary treatments and nothing more can be done etc. Or a war that is so out of hand nobody can control it - say if Israel and Lebanon decided 'sod everyone' and continued their fight, then their civilians would have to leave it in their God's hands. In other words things beyond our control.

Last weeks lesson in Sunday School was Work and Self Reliance. I didn't hear much about leaving it in Gods hands. I heard a lot about the value of work and the importance of being able to take care of your family. God is stepping in because He's sending us. Faith works Miracles when the hands and feet are involved.

Well don't you know, when you have a big problem that you are unable to solve, how you would go to your mother or father or guardian (someone you love and trust). Well I think it is the same with people who believe in God. They try to solve the problem themselves but if it is impossible then they go to their Father in Heaven and ask his help and believe he will not let them down. I think God is looking after us but sometimes I wish he would curtail the free will he has given to us and haul in some of the people who are abusing it and ruining life for the rest of us.He is so patient and forgiving. If it were up to me I would just whack them.

There are things we change and things we cannot. That requires a great deal of wisdom to know the difference. Bible says the Lord gives wisdom for those ask for it.
Any businessman will tell you that to succeed you have to work hard, perservere and a great deal of luck.

Leaving things in God's hands is a metaphor for conscientiously letting go of something that we have no control over anyway. Ultimately, everything is already in God's hands.

because sometimes there are problems that are beyond our control.. when that happens you will be amazed that your problem just been solved when you hopelessly given up and you just left yourself to pray for His guidance and help... our intelligence is limited to understand everything,, the same reason you are asking this question....if we are intelligent enough then what's the purpose of God and would we bother asking if there is such ONE? we come to the point that we question things when our understanding reached it's limitation.... because people have no idea how to deal with or handle a situatuon or give up on it so they think if they ignore it it will go away on it's own so leave it in gods hands it means they don't have to do anything
