as u get older age declines . SO 2 years makes no difference. Anyway, my bf is more than 2 years older than me. He is 34. In order for my parents do approve of me dating him he needs to be 2 years younger. He is over my limit of ag by 2 years. He he were 32 it would be easier. So 34 year old and a 32 year is the same thing , right?

i think i know what you're saying. you are 22 and the oldest boyfriend your parents let you have is 32. your boyfriend is 34.
as long as both people are over 18, age doesn't matter. donald trump is 60 and his wife is 36. hugh hefner is 80.

They aren't exactly the same age no, but they are close in levels of maturity and stuff. If you are old enough to be dating someone who is 32 I would hope you are old enough to date someone who is 34 but you left out how old you are. If you are 18 or younger you should not date anyone who is 32 or 35 but if you are older than 18 then your parents really can't control who you date anymore. Just introduce him to your parents and hope for the best. Lying about his age isn't a great idea

Your parents are being really lame. My grandfather was 10 years older than my grandmother. Most of the time the guy is older.
A good relationship is hard to find. They need to look at his character and what kind of person he is and whether or not you guys are a good fit together.
But, actually, they say that more than 10 years is TOO MUCH of a difference in maturity. So, how old are you?

To your parents, dating a younger man is favored and dating an older man, regaurdless of difference, is not.
Fairness is only what they who make the decisions says what is fair. Age is but a number. You can have an age that says how old you are, but not how old you are mentally, physically, or emotionally. You may be old in physical age but still be a newborn emotionally. When people declare how old they are, they are only stating only one of the ages. Your parents decide what is the same, we can only give our opinion.

Umm, you are 32 years old, your parents shouldnt be telling you that you cant date someone because of a slight age difference. Do what you want, its you that has to be happy with the relationship, not your parents (although it would make it easier if they liked the guy).

If you are over 25 why are you worried about your parents ideal age limit? And why are they worried? You think 2 years is going to make that much of a difference to them?
If it really matters, make them see how great you are together before you announce his age.
