What is the difference between a zionist, israeli, and a jew, religiously, culturly and historicaly? Why do mmuslims hate the zionists so much?

Israeli - a citizen of the country of Israel
Jew - a person born of a jewish mother, or having undergone a kosher conversion. In the normal sense, it refers to one who practices judaism.
zionist -
a) One supports jews living in the holy land (this is 99% of jews' beliefs)
b) one supports establishment of a jewish state -- historical concept of "zionist". not really relevant anymore since the state exists.
c) one supports maintainance of the jewish state (i.e. protection, development, etc. etc.) -- this is much of jewry, say 50%.
why do muslims hate zionists... hmm, well, not all do. of those that do, I'd say ignorance is the major cause. some have personal vendettas because perhaps a relative of thiers (say, a suicide bomber) was killed by the israeli army.

Jews live in Iran yet iran threatened to destroy israel Jews used to live in Iraq before America attacked

Seeker: the information you presented is true except it is impossible for an Arab muslim to be "anti-semitic" because semitic is the language group that Arabs, Jews ,Ethiopians and some other groups speak. And the speakers of those languages are semites. **********Semite has nothing to do with race*********
Zionists are the jews who believe in the strict sense of the promised land. The only hitch with that is the Israelis took the land already being occupied and used by muslims. Are muslims upset about this ? I think you can answer that. the destiny of that muslim is to reclaim his land. ....................................................

Most Jews are Zionists.
Many Muslims hate people who are not Muslims.
They dislike Christains as well as Jews. Although they'll swear otherwise.. They still resent losing spain, and half of France and half of Italy.

you are wrong muslims in general hate everyone the quran warns them of jews and christians , they have killed hindus and buddhist as well in the past , I really dont know I think its in the muslim blood.
